LIVET REICHARD COMPANY, INC. HISTORY

Founded in 1979, by Anne Livet and the late Stephen Reichard, Livet Reichard Company, Inc. is an innovative arts management and marketing firm that specializes in the development of fine arts and public relations projects, and the conception and execution of fund-raising and promotional events.

Serving a diverse clientele that includes corporations, charities, cultural groups, and performing arts institutions, Livet Reichard designs effective programs to: increase revenue and raise funds; cultivate an appropriate audience; create and mold a desired media image; and generate publicity. Clients include the American Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR), for whom we produced the Art Against AIDS campaign domestically in New York, Washington DC, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles; and abroad in Basel, Venice and Tokyo. Through Art Against AIDS and our most recent project, Two by Two for AIDS and Art in Dallas, Livet Reichard has raised more than $17.5 million for amfAR. We have worked extensively for major cultural institutions including the Brooklyn Academy of Music for whom we designed the marketing campaign that led to the creation of the Next Wave Festival, now the most prestigious avant garde performing arts festival in the United States. To build their audience and donor base we helped create the Producers Council, a high level membership group as well as other support groups and sytems. In April 1997, we organized the $1.3 million tenth-anniversary celebration for The Menil Collection (Houston). Current and recent clients include amfAR, Artpace, Bergdorf Goodman, BOMB Magazine, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Guild Hall of East Hampton, The Drawing Center, New Museum of Contemporary Art, Perlman Music Program, Planned Parenthood, and the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture.

Through long-time associations with leading artists, personalities, performers, entrepreneurs, and institutions, the firm has become an integral part of the progressive arts movement. Yet, Livet Reichard is also well-versed in the economics that perpetuate the arts. This melding of business and the arts is the core of Livet Reichard's unique approach.
